Gloucester Toyota is Proud to Participate in the Gloucester Daffodil Festival
The team at Gloucester Toyota has long made it a priority to show customers how much we care about them in as many ways as possible. These include an exceptional level of service, personalized attention to detail, and contributing/participating in various charities and events throughout the area.
One of these charity events is the Gloucester Daffodil Festival! This is an annual celebration of the culture of the area, along with its historical connections to the beautiful daffodil. People have traveled from all over the country to enjoy it since its launch in the early 1930s. This year’s festival is almost upon us yet again, and Gloucester Toyota is proud to be a part of it.

The Event You Won’t Want to Miss
The 2023 Gloucester Daffodil Festival is scheduled to take place on April 1 and 2, 2023. This is in keeping with its regular date of the first weekend in April. As was true with other years, the festival offers not only a chance to enjoy some incredible art but also a variety of fun parades, pageantry, exciting programs, scholarship awards, and more.
It’s important to note that the 2022 Gloucester Daffodil Festival was an overwhelming success. Before that, the festival hadn’t been held since 2019 due to the still-ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. When the festival returned as an in-person event, more than 25,000 people attended.
The theme of this year’s festival is “Let’s Jazz it Up — the Trumpets are Blooming.” One example of the compelling entertainment that will be on hand takes the form of two legendary “Big Bands.” Both Good Shot Judy and the Blue Tips Rhythm Revue will take the main stage at the food court during the event.
Also of note are two scholarship opportunities for those in attendance. The first is the 2023 Daffodil Festival Queen, and the second is Little Miss Daffodil. The lucky contestant chosen as Daffodil Festival Queen will represent both the festival and Gloucester County at multiple events in 2023 and early 2024. She will also have the opportunity to receive a $1,000 scholarship toward her education. Little Miss Daffodil is open to any young ladies who live in the county and are between 8 and 10 years old.
The team at Gloucester Toyota is proud to be on hand as one of the more than 200 vendors that regularly participate in the event. Others include those organizations in categories like fine arts and crafts, handmade gifts, and more.
All told, the Gloucester Daffodil Festival is always a great deal of fun, and Gloucester Toyota is looking forward to participating in and celebrating everything that the wonderful Gloucester County, VA, and its residents have to offer.
